and use it for memorabilia. |

The bag is 8x8". I tea dyed muslin and lace scraps. The trims were all found at a
thrift store and include,broken jewelry,buttonsflowers and rickrack. I made the
wired ribbon rose. Wet it and crushed it and left to dry to give an ol look. A silk ruffle at the top and a long beige shoulder cord complete it. |

Frame that I made from an architectural post base. It came with the square
opening. I distressed the frame, crackled it, added antiquing gel and added a stamped
image to the back. |

The silk materials are all from the 1920's and belonged to mygrandmother, I think
they were her dresses, that went into the recycling bag at one point in time -she
never threw anything away The photo was inkjet printed onto silk too. I had
intended this to be a pillow, but I think it photographs better flat, I will fill
it later. |

I wanted to use some of my vintage buttons and buckle that I won off an ebay estate
sale in the US. I pieced together harmonising fabrics and overlaid them on some
soft batting. |
