Hand painted backgrounds, emotion, hidden colours, grunge, obscurity & interest – Can be found in Lorri’s artwork. One favourite technique is “Gel Medium Transfers”. Lorri loves to transfer images to different backgrounds, looking for an unusual finish and blend. Each background is hand-painted, inked, rubber-stamped or collaged to create different canvasses to work upon. Several pieces are finished with hand-drawn doodles and penwork for abstract.
Living in Australia, Lorri finds the most difficult thing in the art world, is having to ‘wait’ for all the gorgeous product to arrive downunder! Mixed Media, atc’s & ACEO’s now have tremendous popularity in Australia.
