1x1inchies Swap

This link gives you some instructions to create your inchies
When making an inchie, you need a sturdy cardboard backing. This tip is how to make your own square backings for FREE, out of something you already own!
For a really nice & sturdy inchie backing, cut 1" squares from the cardboard that is always attached to the back of a paper pack collection. Lightly sand the edges to get a crisp, clean square. Cover the cardboard backing with paper or paint... then embellish as usual

Tag Book Swap
Home Sweet Home
Time for play – get your tags and create what ‘home sweet home’ means to you. It could be a vintage cottage with roses round the door, shabby chic, retro bake day, could be just about anything related to ‘home’, choose some decoration, some materials, some lovely embellishments, a theme, an era, the choice is yours .

Tags are normally 11x6.5 cms.  (4.75x2.5”). You can use ready-made tags or make your own out of card or fabric.

We are looking for a group of 10 – send in 10 tags all different or all the same, and Evie will make you a little flip book with covers.

Altered Board Book
1 for 1
Theme:  Open

Alter a small child's board book.
Sign up May 1st MsChrisy@aol.com
Due in May 30th to Christine Shebroe in the USA
Book should be between 3 and 5" square.
Please use a book with at least 4 pages inside the covers - which means you will have a front and back cover, and 5 spreads inside the book.  (A spread is a left and right side when book is open).  If you have a book with more pages, you can glue several together, or alter more pages - your choice.  These books tend to be shiny and if you are painting, will need to be sanded some first.  You can add a niche inside, or cut holes in some pages, if you'd like.  Embellishments usually work better on the outside of the pages, rather than close to the binding.  Your book doesn't have to close -- but it's nice if it will stand on it's own for displaying.....

MAIL YOUR book in a plastic baggie to protect it from the weather.
Include a SELF ADDRESSED MAILING LABEL - large enough for the post office to read.
Please send $3.00 to cover the cost of return mailing and padded envelopes or small box - depending on the size of the book.  Outside the U.S. - it is very hard to estimate mailing costs -- so please send what it cost to mail to me, plus a little extra for a mailing envelope/box.  I will return overpayments.  You can also send $$ via PAYPAL after I have an exact $$ amount.
